Fellow Teachers,
Just a quick message from the Prez. Plan on the Piano Festival on November
11. We have 80 entrants this year. Also, are you practicing your Latin pieces
for the December meeting at Ann Bunyan's? We've had such good
participation the past two years, we need to keep up the tradition.

I had the privilege of attending the fabulous Friends of Chamber Music Concert on Saturday, October 21. I can't get over the talent we have in our group of teachers. Ruth is so exciting to hear playing the clarinet. She plays with an extremely talented group of musicians. Their program was exciting and very challenging showing off their extensive versatility especially on the final piece, Sextet, Opus 37 by Ernst von Dehnanyi. My husband and I certainly plan to attend more future concerts. They're especially conducive to our old Loveland homes.

We'll be on two trips this month, one to Florida and the other to Kansas
City. Both are to do with family. In between, my lessons continue. See
you at Debi Strick's on November 8.

December Meeting
Come to our Extravaganza Recital, December 13, where our teachers will present Latin Music. Hopefully you are planning to participate, but please come and be a part of the warm and friendly audience either way! We will meet at the home of Ann Bunyan, with a potluck lunch to follow.

Newsletter Contributions
Sandy Lundberg
I am so appreciative of those who send in items to contribute to the newsletter each month. Quite frankly, although I am happy to keep the newsletter and website updated each month, I am not in a position right now to search out news and write stories. I really count on all of the members to send in items to share. So, if you hear of an interesting concert coming up, learn a great new teaching tip or technique, read a good book you'd like to pass on, or just have anything of interest to our group, please send off an email to webmaster@lamta.com and earn my undying gratitude!
