October Meeting
Ruth Hale
October Meeting: MONDAY, OCTOBER 2, 9:00 a.m.
"Caroline Orman & Friends" will present the program they gave at the Boulder Conference involving music and poetry. This is a combined meeting with Fort Collins MTA.
9:00 - 10:00 Social hour and brunch - FCMTA will provide a continental-style brunch
10:00 - 11:00 Performance
11:00 - 11:30 LAMTA meeting
(FCMTA will have their meeting also, in a different room.)
Location:Trinity Lutheran Church, 301 E. Stuart, Fort Collins; take Hwy 287 north, turn right on Stuart (two streets before Prospect), go three blocks east on Stuart. The church is on the corner of Stuart and Mathews.
November Meeting
The November meeting will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 8, at the home of Debi Strick. LAMTA teachers will discuss memorization techniques.
2006 Piano Festival
Piano Festival information is expected soon.

Friends of Chamber Music

The Loveland Friends of Chamber Music has an important concert coming up on Saturday evening October 21 & Sunday afternoon October 22. It will feature the Moszkowski Suite for two violins and piano; the Khachaturin Trio for violin, clarinet and piano and the Dohnany Sextet for piano, violin, viola and cello and clarinet and horn. This is a really exciting and dramatic program.Reservations: 970.663.7928 (We have an excellent new cellist with us.)
Loveland Orchestra

The Loveland Orchestra's first concert of the season is Saturday, October
28, 7:30 p.m. at Loveland High School, 920 W. 29th St. On the program
will be two favorites, "Scheherazade" by Rimsky-Korsakov and "New World
Symphony" by Dvorak. Encourage your students to come. Students to age
l2 are free and ages l3 through college are $5. For more information

Piano For Sale
Jo Buckridge
1924 5'10" Steinway grand piano Model L with mahogany finish.
Built in 1924 and sold to C.C. Mellor Co. in PittsburghPA on 5/10/1924.
It was completely restored by Charles C. Woods & Son and sold to me in July of 2003.It is in new condition and has ivory keys.
$32,000 includes matching artist bench.
