Please look back at the April Newsletter and re-read the proposals for changes in the Constitution, By-Laws, and the new Standing Rules. We will vote on these changes and additions at our May meeting. We will also elect new officers. The nominating committee, Caroline Orman, Ann Bunyan, and Beverly Haag will present the new slate of officers.
Please review this additional Standing Rule:#7.Teachers who are not members of LAMTA, CSMTA & MTNA may not enter students in local association activities. Since there are other organizations and activities in our community that provide opportunities for performance and competition,we feel that there is not a "competitive economic advantage" for LAMTA teachers.
