LAMTA
What is LAMTA?
The Loveland Area Music Teachers Association has been serving the greater Loveland area for 40 years.
We are an organization of private piano, vocal and instrumental teachers who are striving to become better teachers and provide our students with the best possible music education. Local membership requires State and National Membership as well, and links us to a vast network of benefits and support.
Our local association meets on the second Wednesday morning of each month. We also sponsor many activities during the year which provide performance opportunities for our students and learning opportunities for us.
Our Purpose
The purpose of this association is to promote professional fraternity and to stimulate professional growth among music teachers, to provide opportunities for student involvement and development, and to support the objectives of our state and national organizations. LAMTA is a 501(c)(3) organization.
Active membership is open to all those engaged in the teaching of music who wish to grow and develop in their field.
A New Member application form can be obtained by accessing the Music Teachers National Association website at www.mtna.org. The Colorado State Music Teachers Association website is at www.comusicteachers.org.
